Everyone has their own best friend.. or best friends actually…

A dog even claims that he is man’s best friend.

Just last month, I hosted a party. some sort of a simple party for our neighbor who just turned 18.. and of course we witnessed the 18 candles, the 18 roses.. and yes.. the 18 gifts.. I called on this lady to present her gift to the debutant, and it’s really funny because it has been 4 years since they last see each other. Yet, she was there for the 18 gifts.. and to my surprise, she got a pair of shoes as a gift to the debutant. And yes with the correct size?! , then the debutant waved at me and told me “she’s my best friend” Isn’t amazing? Sometimes, those simple things would tell you about the essence of being best friends, there’s always one thing you would know about your best friend for the rest of your life.. and sometimes you are not even aware that your best friend would even recall those things…

Last Saturday, I got to meet two of my best friends, yeah I got so many best friends and I am glad that I have many hehehe.. I haven’t seen them since our graduation in 2003, can you believe that , after 3 years.. we finally see each other.. they look just as younger as I thought hahaha naks! Pambobola to.. . It’s just that Karen is actually a lot lot slimmer than our MFI days hahaha and Kristine, dang?! You don’t even look like you’re already a mom to our cutie angel Ynchan.. just the same funny YOU.. hahaha. I had fun.. and that was actually the day we reminisced about the old times.. we can always recall who we were 3 years ago and I just smile when we realize that the things we talk about are all about life this time.. a lot more serious stuff.. love, pains, joy, family, getting married, fears.., future plans, c munong q siempre hehehe.. everything… It’s like, our souls our always connected no matter what.. souls connected through unspoken words.. tied by miles and miles away and wrapped by millions of text messages just to get connected. It’s like we are in a shell of millions and millions of people in different walks of life, different lives, different types of people yet in that shell we know we are just the same old folks… with the same heart beat, with the same sound of cry.. the only difference is .. the “physical” distance.. I miss the old times, but we got to move on with our lives.. the same old folks in different worlds.. separated but connected, away but accessible, at least we got friendster …..and our phones to get connected..

Yes my best friends “since birth” hahaha tina… and Donna , donna is in CA right now, hope that she’ll be home by next year.. so there, tina and I will meet hehe to work on an events planning thingy .. and oh my God.. hahaha first time to girl.. galingan natin.. baka matupad na pangarap natin ditoo.oooo

See best friends are even tied up with dreams and frustrations hahahaha..

To make this long story even shorter wheheheehe best friends are always part of our lives and will ever be part of our lives till the end of time..
